Welcome to Roosevelt Dads Club!

Thank you for supporting Roosevelt, our wonderful teachers and staff, and most of all, for being there for our kids. The RDC is working closely with the School Administration and the PTA to ensure our active involvement. Keep an eye on our Calendar and Facebook for up to date news about our events and fundraisers.

RETURNING DADS - Welcome back! We're looking forward to regular meetings, Shooting, Bowling, Golf, Cornhole and Fishing Tournaments this year, not mention grilling hot dogs for our monthly Teddy's Cafe!

NEW DADS - Welcome to Roosevelt! The Roosevelt Dads Club is very involved in the school, from putting together social events, to cleaning up and maintaining the campus grounds one or two times a year. We encourage you to join the RDC and get involved!

John Aaron Memorial RDC Clay Tournament

In October of each year at Tampa Bay Sporting Clays

GUNS!!! No gun? Not a problem. Rentals available. Never shot a gun? TBSC and the Dads club have you covered.

Your entry fee covers:

- Ammo, targets, golf cart rental for a 50 shot round
- Beer and other beverages (beer after the shoot)
- Food after the event (usually BBQ is served)
- Prizes (best and worst shooter & more)

Check in for the event will be at 1:00, we will be providing food and beverages before/after the event. Expected first shot time is around 2:00.

After the event we'll have a cash raffle for great prizes and a 50|50 raffle with proceeds benefit a worthy cause.

If you have never shot sporting clays, but have always wanted to try, this is the event!

Roosevelt Dads Club Annual Fishing Tournament

Fish from your boat, your friend's boat, a dock, a kayak, it doesn't matter. Just be at The Getaway on Gandy by 2:30 p.m. to weigh in and party.

This is an inshore grand slam tournament.

- Species are snook, redfish, and trout.

- Trophies and prizes will be awarded for top 3 longest fish in each species category plus the grand slam winner, awarded to have the longest in total length of all 3 species.

- Fishing can begin as early as 7 AM (sunrise).

- Captains meeting to be held at The Patio at 7 PM the night before the tournament. This is where you will receive your tournament T-shirt, rules and scorecard, and your measuring stick. The captains meeting is also where you will be able to receive your raffle tickets.

- Each angler or team must provide their own fishing equipment (boat, kayak, fishing gear, etc...).

- All scorecards must be submitted to the tournament table at the getaway no later than 2:30 PM the day of the tournament. Do not forget there is at least a 15 minute no wake zone from Gandy beach to the Getaway.

Roosevelt Dad's Club Annual Golf Tournament

The Roosevelt Dads Club is hosting our annual Golf Tournament at MacDill AFB Bay Palms Golf Complex. Please arrive early. Check in will start at 9:00 AM.

This is the sole fundraising event put on by the Dads Club.

We all feel very fortunate that we are able to send our children to an A-rated elementary school located in the heart of our South Tampa community. It’s because of the hard work of the faculty, parents, and the support of the local business community that Roosevelt has been able to maintain this A rating.

The Dads Club Golf Tournament is a great avenue to support Roosevelt. It is also a great way to advertise your business! All proceeds from the tournament will go towards supporting Roosevelt Elementary projects.

We hope that you will join us in this year’s tournament. Thanks again for all of our members support!

Format: 4 person scramble
Prizes: Team play, CTP, Long Drive, Chipping, Putting and more!
Prize Draw: Sponsors Draw, Premium Draw (Grills, Yeti & more), Standard Draw, 4K TVs and more!
Awards & BBQ: Party starts immediately following golf tournament at the MacDill clubhouse
Registration: Includes greens/cart fees, range balls and post tournament BBQ in the MacDill clubhouse

Roosevelt Dad's Club Annual Cornhole Tournament

This is an outdoor event for both parents and children. Enjoy some friendly competition and spending time with other Roosevelt families. You might even bump into some of your favorite teachers!

Your fee covers: Entry for a parent and a child into the tournament, food, snacks, and soft drinks.

It is a great opportunity for the entire family have fun and connect with the Roosevelt Elementary Community. Parents and students will compete in a Cornhole Tournament while enjoying music and food. Several prizes to compete for.
